The Older Women's League featured Scherer's work throughout their 30th anniversary Mother’s Day report titled “End-of-Life Choices: Who Decides?” because 'her images depict end-of-life scenes that illuminate the emotional, personal and striking process of dying.' OWL invited Scherer to speak during a Capitol Hill policy briefing hosted by Congressman Earl Blumenauer. Now that comprehensive health reform law is in place, it's time to put end-of-life issues at the center of our health care conversations. To see the report visit: www.owl-national.org
